Us – Our School
Beltaine is the British festival celebrating the
start of Spring, a new beginning, part of the Trinity of Birth,
Life and Death. In the wheel of the year it is the start of a
new journey.
The
same theories can be found in the name of Wing Chun also meaning
Forever or Beautiful Springtime.
I
began my studies of Wing Chun Kung Fu with Sifu McKay when I first
joined the Royal Air Force in 1991. Whilst moving around I have
trained with several different instructors including Kevin Chan
founder of Kamon Wing Chun Kung Fu, which included several training
holidays to Newquay. I have always kept a close liaison with Sifu
McKay who has guided my path throughout this time, and have now
come back home full time under their association.
